Our Mission

Our mission is to provide an inclusive, affirming, safe space online and in person to educate, inspire and empower women and girls of all backgrounds to find their personal power, inner-strength and individual voices. By providing links to helpful resources, women empowering organizations, events and free content we hope be a source to find assistance, learn something new and realize there are welcoming communities and we are not alone.

We have worked with women from all walks of life since Aurora established her Women’s Empowerment Program in 1993.

Our programs once primarily focused on preparing women mentally, emotionally, and physically to defend themselves from physical attack (Women’s Self-defense). But over our past 30 years we’ve found that emotional abuse, mental abuse, coercive control, financial abuse, gaslighting, triangulation and isolation are also devastating forms of assault that need to be addressed.

Women's Empowerment has evolved into Self-actualization thru Women's Empowerment and has expanded to address these insidious forms of abuse as well as continuing to teach women how to physically defend themselves from would-be-attackers. Together we can help lift each other up and create a safer more equitable world.

Our Commitment

We are committed to being a link in the global chain that celebrates, empowers and honors women and girls. By hosting woman and girl centered poetry circles, choregraphing and performing female empowering pieces, fundraisers, celebrations, preforming and visual arts showcases we hope to inspire women, girls and those that love them.

Through our blog, YouTube channel, Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook we bring you stories, music, quotes, interviews and profiles to inspire, inform and empower as well as providing free original and curated content to educate, enlighten, and be of service.

Energy Circle

Our Reiki/Cleansing/Energy Circle are great for beginners as well as advanced practitioners. Each session is unique, meaning no two classes or circles are ever the same. We focus on breath, colors, music and guided meditation to help the conscious mind and body relax while soothing the subconscious' tensions.

Consciousness is energy and the more freely it flows the greater possibilities for deeper self-awareness, well-being and clarity. We focus on bringing our awareness to the present to release anxiety and stress.
